MEET THE FOUNDER
How it started
April Melendez has been experimenting with flavor since she was doctoring boxed cake mix with peanut butter and jelly in middle school. The idea for B.U.I. came during her last year of college, and in 2023 she made it official.
What began with boozy cakes grew into a full line of spirit-infused jams, jellies, and pantry staples, now found at farmers markets and events across Dallas–Fort Worth.
So grab a jar and a cocktail, and enjoy the ride.
